As the first face our guests see, the host at Roma sets the tone for our guests' experience.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and seat guests in a timely manner.
Manage customer wait lists and reservations.
Monitor table availability and kitchen readiness.
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to deliver excellent service.
Ensure proper setup of the dining room before and after service.
Assist servers with clearing tables and seating guests as needed.
Address customer concerns and requests professionally and promptly.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Requirements:
Previous hosting experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
Weekend and evening availability.
